How do I use Liquid Scale?
You can get an in-app tutorial on how to use the App when you press the info button on the lower right of the screen.
Liquid Scale is not working with my image.
With some images the underlying algorithm is unable to detect the important features. In those cases you can mark the important and unimportant parts of the image manually. Use the (+-) button in the toolbar to get started.
I marked an object with red color but it doesn’t disappear!?
After marking the desired regions red and pressing done you need to shrink the image by using the little arrows on the edges of the image. Resizing is not done automatically.
How do I change the scale orientation?
Press one of the white dots at the image borders to change the scale orientation.
Why does scaling only work in one direction at a time?
Due to the nature of the underlying algorithm scaling only works in one direction at a time. If you change the scale orientation the image has to be processed again. That is why you see the progress bar.
The app is getting very slow!
By default Liquid Scale resizes your images to a size your device can handle with an acceptable speed. If you enlarge your image extremely Liquid Scale is getting slower, due to the limited capabilities of your device. You can change the image resolution in the settings.
